Lemon Ginger Wellness Tonic
This post is part of a paid collaboration with Sprouts Farmers Market.
If there is one flavor combination I do not get sick of, it would be anything lemon-ginger. I am hooked on all things lemony and gingery, and look for basically any reason to add either or both to my daily routine daily. Both have tremendous health benefits, and taste delicious, in my opinion! I am so excited to be partnering with Sprouts for this post, because they are one of my favorite resources for all things wellness!
It is no secret that 2020 has been a year of absolute craziness. This year has been unfathomable in many ways, which has lead to an increase in stress for most of us. Something I have always used for natural stress relief is Bach Flower Remedies, Rescue Remedy. I have literally used this since I was in elementary school, and love that I can buy it from Sprouts. I keep one on my car, one by my bedside and another in my purse to ensure I have one on me at all times! Seriously, it has been so great in helping me manage my anxiety.
Where does Rescue Remedy come into play with this recipe? Great question! I have actually been adding a few drops of it into my beverages for a little extra stress relief! I am all for wellness-focused beverages, so this one felt appropriate to add a little Rescue Remedy to! During this busy holiday season, herbs and supplements can help support relaxation, restful sleep and stress relief. I love that I can go to Sprouts for all of my wellness-related needs.
This recipe truly couldn’t be more easy to make. Simply throw all of the ingredients in a blender, and store your mixture in an air-tight container. This tonic beverage can be enjoyed warm or cold on its own, or can be added to a glass of water as more of a concentrate. I usually pour some into my water and sip on it throughout the day! It just tastes delicious, and makes drinking water that much more enjoyable!
Anyway, here is the recipe! I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
