Disclaimer: I am not an expert, nor do I know everything about the ins and outs of the beauty industry. I have educated myself on the issues surrounding the chemicals that are loaded in our cosmetics and skincare products, and have made it my mission to try to clean up my act (literally). That being said, I am not perfect by any means, and have been slowly transitioning my makeup products to clean, organic and natural options. Everyone is different, and everyone is entitled to his or her own decisions when choosing makeup, I just choose to avoid putting unnecessary chemicals on my skin.  Also note: I have been sent some of these products for free. However, the reason why the products appear on my blog/Instagram is because I whole-heartedly believe in them. I will not promote products on my channels that I do not fully support.

Hello hello! I am back talking all things natural beauty! When I started this natural beauty and makeup series, I was just in the beginnings of my journey. I was (and still am) testing new products, and finding what did and didn’t work for my skin. Just like any beauty regime, it is a lengthy process! I wanted to dive a little deeper this month and check back in with some additional products I’ve been loving.

While makeup isn’t something I wear everyday, it is nice to know that the makeup you are putting on your face isn’t made up of toxic chemicals that can be harming your hormones and body. No thanks! As I continue on this journey I will keep writing new posts about my favorite products, but until then here are a few more! !

Han Skincare Cosmetics Bronzer —This is my new go-to bronzer, and replaced my Tarte waterproof bronzer that I used for years. This blends wonderfully, is matte and doesn’t make you look orange. I am all for a natural tan, so this bronzer in “Malibu” is the one for me!

BeautyCounter Tint Skin Foundation (in Linen)—BeautyCounter is a WONDERFUL brand in general for anyone starting out on the natural skincare game. They provide a wide array of natural products that are absolutely beautiful. Plus, they’re Goop-approved which is always a plus for me. I have been using this foundation for a little while now and it has worked great in addition to my moisturizer with my combination skin.

Coola Sunless Tan Dry Oil Mist-- I met the Coola team this past September at Expo East, and I mentioned to them that I have always loved their sunscreens. First introduced to me by the Tone It Up girls, I have been using their sunscreen for years. It was so generous of them to send me this dry oil tan mist, because I am a sucker for a good fake tan. This one goes on as a spray liquid, which was different for me at first, but I was into it. I feel like it requires less product than lotion to get a good bronze, and the tan appears relatively quickly. I will absolutely continue to use this product.

Mother Dirt Shampoo -- Ok so this isn't exactly makeup, but hair is a large part of my beauty routine. I met Jasmina, founder of non-toxic and microbiome-compliant skincare line Mother Dirt at Expo East, but they were also at Revitalize this year as well! Their beautiful products are SUPER clean, and promote good bacteria growth as a means of maintaining beautiful skin. They sent me their entire line, which I am still testing, but I have really been liking their original shampoo. It does not have a scent, so that is perfect for someone with acne-prone skin like myself. I find that it gets my hair really clean, without stripping all of the necessary oils. The shampoo claims to lengthen the time between washes, which I have absolutely noticed. I used to go every other day without washing my hair, but now I can easily go 3 days. I’m pretty obsessed with this stuff.
