Natural Skincare On A Budget: My Favorites Under $15

Natural Skincare On A Budget: My Favorites Under $15

Skincare can get expensive, and that’s not even considering the fact that natural skincare products tend to be pricier than conventional! In thinking of ways I can best serve my audience, I wanted to create this post to make natural beauty and skincare more approachable, affordable and accessible to all. I’ve scoured the shelves of Whole Foods, Target and your local Amazon.com to find my favorite natural skincare products, that don’t have a crazy price tag! I will preface, some of these products are sample size. I think this is a GREAT option for trying natural skincare! I hope you find this type of post helpful, let me know what other natural skincare posts you want to see going forward!

Acure Brightening Facial Scrub ($8-10): This is my go to facial scrub. I love how smooth and bright it makes my skin look. I’ve been using this scrub for YEARS! It really GETS IN THERE and actually makes my face feel clean without stripping it of too many oils. If you don’t love an abrasive facial scrub, this may not be for you…but I find it works like a dream.

Weleda Skin Food ($10): I’ve been using this skin food on my forehead for several weeks now, and was surprised by how much my skin loved it! I anticipated this thick repairing balm would clog my pores and break me out, but so far I haven’t had any issues. I use this for fine lines on my forehead, under my eyes, and on dry hands and elbows. Such a great multi-use product.

Cocokind MyMatcha Stick ($8): I’ve talked about the Cocokind MyMatcha stick again and again, but there’s a reason why I mention it so frequently. It is a HUGE stick, reasonably priced for the size, and is a great product (IMO). I don’t use this under my eyes (I don’t like putting coconut oil on my face), but it it my favorite lip balm. It lives in my purse, car, and next to my bed.

Dr. Bronner’s Bar Soap ($15 for 3): Yale and I have been using this super clean bar soap for probably 3 years. We use it for face and body, and we both love how gentle it is. I don’t love buying soaps with fragrance, so this is perfect for us…but they also come in a variety of scents!

Indian Healing Clay Mask ($10): This mask really is the only mask you ever need…and the tub it comes in seems like it’s going to last a lifetime! My esthetician recommended this mask, and I am hooked. It is so inexpensive, and gets the job done when cleaning out your pores. No need to spend an arm and a leg on a face mask that might not even work, this guy is the best.

Alba Botanica Acne Treatment Gel ($13): I love this acne treatment gel. I find it to be gentle enough to not dry out my skin, yet effective in reducing inflammation in my pimples.

Thayers Witch Hazel Toner ($9): This has been a staple in my routine for a few years now. While it’s taken a backseat role while I’ve been testing new products, old faithful Thayers will always be in my cabinet.

Dr. Bronner’s Body Lotion ($11): I don’t think you can go wrong with any Dr. Bronner’s product. I love a good, inexpensive moisturizer that gets the job done.

Indie Lee Brightening Cleanser ($10, $34): OK! Before you freak out, I have this on here because while the FULL SIZE bottle is not under $15, the sample is. I love having samples of products before I commit to a full size, and if you’re new to the world of Indie Lee, I seriously recommend you try this cleanser

Ursa Major Essential Face Wipes ($6.50, $24): I love these face wipes. They are great for removing makeup, for post-workout, or for travel. I always like to have these babies on hand.

Mother Dirt Face & Body Cleanser ($15): Mother Dirt is an awesome brand. It uses natural good bacteria to help clean the skin (think probiotics). Sounds counterintuitive, but this gentle cleanser is wonderful!!
