My Current Skincare Favorites from Beautycounter [Review & How to Use Each Product]

If you follow me on Instagram, there’s a 99% chance you’ve seen or heard me talk about Beautycounter at some point. I became a consultant in July, and have been loving sharing my favorite products with you the past couple of months. I can genuinely say that the products I’ve tried have made a huge, noticeable difference in my skin. I would say this even if I weren’t a consultant, but I am SO glad that I am, and can share these products with you.

While I haven’t tried every Beautycounter product yet, I have found a good assortment that work for my particular skin. If you are new to the world of Beautycounter, I always suggest first taking the Skincare Quiz to see which regimen would best suit your skin type. You may benefit best from one regimen or line alone, but I’ve found most people mix and match products from each line to meet their individual skin needs. For me, the Countermatch line has been a game changer for my super sensitive skin, but my hero skincare products are within the Counter+ line! It is all about finding what works best for you, and I am happy to help work with you to meet your individual skincare needs.

Anyway, the moment you’ve been waiting for, here are my favorite Beautycounter products at the moment! I can’t wait to continue to use Beautycounter and see which products I am sharing next!

Counter+ Overnight Resurfacing Peel: I talk about this product CONSTANTLY on my page! And for good reason! This product has changed my skin. This product is only to be worn at night, which is when the skin magic happens! This product contains a multitude of acids, which help brighten, improve skin tone, reduce acne, minimize pores and more, overnight! This is my number one Beautycounter product for sure! I apply it to clean skin after showering and washing my face. If you have a multi-step routine, it should be step 2, prior to applying serums, or step 3 after applying toners. I apply 1-2 pumps all over my face, and down my neck, and WAIT! I wait 3-5 minutes to allow the product to fully dry prior to adding my moisturizer. I use this product every-other night, and it is important to keep in mind that this product should not be mixed with any other active-ingredient products (like acids, retinol, etc.). If you use a product like our Tripeptide Radiance Serum, they should be used on alternating days to avoid irritation. Want one Beautycounter product to try? This is it.

Countermatch Refresh Foaming Cleanser: Do you have sensitive, normal or combination skin? This cleanser is for YOU! In my opinion, this is the best cleanser for most skin types. It is gentle, yet effective, without leaving your skin feeling stripped. I use this cleanser in the morning mostly, but if my skin is looking clear or is feeling dry, I also use it in the evening. I shared below my evening “cleanser” from Beautycounter. I am obsessed with this, as I am with all of the Countermatch products!

Counter+ Charcoal Facial Mask: I feel like this product is everyone’s first favorite Beautycounter product. It was my Beautycounter gateway. In fact, I first purchased this mask back in college! I use this mask 1-2 times. a week all over my face, or as a spot treatment as needed when I’m breaking out. What I love about this mask is you can SEE it working! It pulls excess oil and grime out of your skin (I especially see it working in my T-Zone and on any active pimples)! I’ve loved incorporating this in my skincare routine.

Countermatch Adaptive Moisture Lotion: This has been my go-to moisturizer for a couple months now and I am OBSESSED! I was previously using (and hooked on) Vanicream Lite Lotion, and I was tremendously anxious to switch, since my skin is so sensitive. I can safely say, that this has made my skin so much smoother, softer, less acne-prone (it contains a little bit of salicylic acid to help with breakouts)! I am truly hooked. I’ve also recommended this to a bunch of my clients, and all have had similar results. It seems to be a great option for most skin types.

Counter+ Charcoal Cleansing Bar: I had heard other Beautycounter users and consultants talk about this cleansing bar being great for acne, so I wanted to order it for Yale and myself. So far, so good! I feel like it definitely helps prevent breakouts, and when one does appear (like if I accidentally eat dairy like I did this weekend and feel a zit brewing), it helps clear the pimples quickly. Yale is a huge fan too and has been using it daily. I use this in the evening!
