This year I’ve accumulated more brown toned pieces in my wardrobe this year than ever before, and I am not mad about it. Something about the color brown has been really comforting to me as of late. It feels cozy, homey and warm. I’ve been adding more brown items to our home, as well as my closet, and will likely continue to do so as the winter weather continues. Below are some of the chocolate colored items I’ve purchased, as well as others I am eyeing.
Le Mini Sweater: I have swooned over AYR’s sweaters for a few years now, and finally pulled the trigger on this Le Mini version of their ever popular Le Square sweater. The “Tortie” color really hooked me! Pictured above.
Faux Shearling Oversized Coat: How gorgeous is this oversized faux shearling coat? It is a great price, and looks super expensive. Since my wardrobe is somewhat limited to oversized sweaters and leggings during pregnancy, I love adding this coat to give my outfit a little spice.
Mini Double Loop Bag: One of my best friends had this bag, and upon seeing it on her I knew I had to buy it for myself. I grabbed the limited edition Chocolate color, but all of them are gorgeous! The bag also comes in 3 sizes.
Saint Laurent Card Holder: I love this little leather card holder. I have been eyeing them for awhile, and once I saw this beautiful deep brown pebbled leather, I snatched it as an early Christmas gift to myself.
Sister Parish “Dolly” Fabric in Brown: Last summer I found 6 yards of this brown Dolly Sister Parish fabric on Chairish, and I immediately purchased it. Something about the beautiful brown tones mixed with their Dolly print made me fall in love. I am so glad I have it because I used some of the fabric for pillows on our sofa. I can’t wait to find another use for the other 4 yards!
